Sales Engineer/Inside Sales for VEGA

Background and Qualifications

As a Sales Engineer your role is to be the contact person within the company for the internal and external relations. You are responsible for ensuring that the relations is advised in the best possible way with your expertise and support towards the customer.

  • Preferably 2- 6 years of successful work experience within sales.
  • Preferably a bachelor’s in mechanical/electronic/process-industrial automation engineering.
  • Customer-focus and the ability to understand and address the customers underlying needs.
  • Commercial understanding.
  • Technical knowledge.
  • Strong negotiation and communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to find timely solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Communicates in high quality with a tailored support to the individual customer.
  • Acts proactively in communication with customers whereby structural visits by the account manager should also be proposed to achieve maximum influence within the sales process.
  • Creates high quality quotations that meet applicable expectations/procedures (including appropriate equipment, process conditions, prices, delivery terms).
  • Lead generation.

Your key tasks will be to:

  • Working cross-functional with Account Manager from the respective territory, or other interested parties, of all pending matters.
  • Advising and consulting the customer in-and outbound.
  • Customer data is entered into CRM system according to guidelines and changes are processed.
  • Data reports-regarding products, prices, and conditions of competitors.
  • Installed base- and competitive analysis.
  • Handles enquiries, orders, and complaints according to established procedures.
  • Forecast investments.
  • You are at all times convinced of the added value of VEGA.

Language Skills

Proficiency in Swedish, English and preferably German
